China"s service trade value grew 25.8 percent year-on-year in the first quarter of 2022, data from the Ministry of Commerce showed on Thursday. Total trade value stood at nearly 1.46 trillion yuan. 商務(wù)部5月5日發(fā)布的數(shù)據(jù)顯示，今年一季度，我國服務(wù)貿(mào)易繼續(xù)快速增長。服務(wù)進(jìn)出口總額接近1.46萬億元，同比增長25.8%。

Service exports expanded 30.8 percent year-on-year to 713.98 billion yuan, and service imports were 743.01 billion yuan, up 21.3 percent from the year before. 其中服務(wù)出口7139.8億元，增長30.8%；進(jìn)口7430.1億元，增長21.3%。

The growth of service trade exports outpaced import growth by 9.5 percentage points, resulting in a 56.4 percent drop in the service trade deficit to 29.03 billion yuan from the same period last year. 一季度服務(wù)出口增幅大于進(jìn)口9.5個(gè)百分點(diǎn)，帶動(dòng)服務(wù)貿(mào)易逆差下降56.4%至290.3億元。

Trade in knowledge-intensive services raked in 615.66 billion yuan, up 14.1 percent year-on-year.一季度，知識(shí)密集型服務(wù)進(jìn)出口6156.6億元，增長14.1%。

Over 70 percent of Shanghai"s 1,800-plus major enterprises have resumed work and production amid the city"s COVID-19 resurgence, according to a press conference on COVID-19 prevention and control held on Thursday. Industrial enterprises in Shanghai have made steady progress in resuming production, with the resumption rate of more than 660 key enterprises exceeding 90 percent. 來自5月5日上海市新冠肺炎疫情防控工作第174場新聞發(fā)布會(huì)的消息，截至目前，上海市工業(yè)企業(yè)復(fù)工復(fù)產(chǎn)有序推進(jìn)，全市1800多家重點(diǎn)企業(yè)，復(fù)工率超過70%，其中首批660多家重點(diǎn)企業(yè)復(fù)工率超過90%。

The US Federal Reserve on Wednesday raised its benchmark interest rate by a half percentage point, marking the sharpest rate hike since 2000 as it takes more aggressive steps to rein in the country’s highest inflation in four decades. The Federal Open Market Committee, the Fed"s policy-making body, decided to raise the target range for the federal funds rate to 0.75 to 1 percent, the Fed said in a statement after a two-day policy meeting. 美聯(lián)儲(chǔ)決策機(jī)構(gòu)聯(lián)邦公開市場委員會(huì)5月4日在結(jié)束為期兩天的貨幣政策會(huì)議后發(fā)表聲明，宣布加息50個(gè)基點(diǎn)，將聯(lián)邦基金利率目標(biāo)區(qū)間上調(diào)到0.75%至1%之間。這是自2000年以來加息幅度首次達(dá)到50個(gè)基點(diǎn)，顯示美聯(lián)儲(chǔ)正加大政策力度，以抑制40年來最高通脹水平的沖擊。

More than half of Americans show signs of a previous COVID-19 infection, according to a new report released on April 26. 美國疾病控制和預(yù)防中心4月26日發(fā)布的一份新報(bào)告稱，超半數(shù)美國人表現(xiàn)出曾感染新冠病毒的跡象。

The findings from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention came after researchers examined blood samples from more than 200,000 Americans and looked for virus-fighting antibodies created by infection, not vaccines. 研究人員檢測了超20萬美國人的血樣，從中尋找感染病毒而非接種疫苗產(chǎn)生的抗擊病毒的抗體。
